Happy October fam. What a month. Honestly, a pretty hard one considering everything that is going on in the world right now. So heartbreaking to watch things unfold in Israel and Gaza and most days, I'll randomly break out into tears after reading the news. :(
Here's an update on what's been happening here at KHI.
Lets start off with a sneak peek of some film photos we got sent by our photographer Sarah Button last week! We're still waiting on the digital photos but it was so fun to get these that she captured so beautifully on film.
First up, our San Francisco Project (so many heart eyes).

Okay and what's next for the Oct Edit... EVENTS. I got invited to a couple of killer events that I have to share with you. The first was an invite from Hati Home to come and celebrate their new showroom in Costa Mesa. They catered an absolutely stunning FIVE COURSE MEAL put on by Lark Artisan Market and we dined while being surrounded by Hati's beautiful new furniture collection that celebrates heirloom quality and exceptional craftsmanship. Also! I was lucky enough to sit next to Hati's owners (husband and wife dream team Adam and Kallie) during the dinner so I got to learn all about how they started their company, and their inspiring mission behind it. Left feeling so thankful for the invite, and for this awesome design community.
The other event I got to attend this month was at Armadillo's new flagship headquarters up in the design district of LA on La Cienega Boulevard. They just opened their new showroom and threw an absolutely killer party. I got to catch up with our awesome rep Norah, ran into some of my designer friends from Orange County, and made new friends too. Such a great night. Again, left feeling so thankful for the invite and this amazing design community.
Another exciting thing that happened this month is I finally got my act together and am sending out a KHI Newsletter (YAHOO!). If you haven't signed up for it, head over to our website, scroll down to the bottom, and drop me your email and I'll get you added to our list. It's going to have our favorite new vendors and products linked, updates on our studio, and we'll also be sharing things that inspire us. The plan is for it to go out every other Sunday (so twice a month a little love letter from me!).
In terms of what we've been working on design wise in the studio, we've been working through the initial concepts of our Timbercreek Drive project which is a full home renovation we're doing in Plano, Texas. It's a (belgian farmhouse) VIBE you guys. I'm beyond excited to share more with you guys after we present concepts to our clients this week but for now, I'll just share our inspo slide with you below. ITS GOING TO BE SO SPECIAL.
