April!! So many exciting things going on this month including our team finally moving into and working out of the studio! The first day was pretty surreal and also emotional if I'm being honest. I've dreamed about having a space for my team to create from for years, so it actually happening was a total pinch me / very teary eyed (series of) moment(s).
Here's a few pics of us in the studio the first week of April celebrating our official move in - with doughnuts of course because duh. By the way if you're wondering, the design team is working off of a folding table that I disguised with a linen table cloth but don't worry their actual desk from Blu Dot has now arrived so folding table BEGONE. Also including a few photos of our new Cedar and Moss fixtures that we got installed which have totally transformed the studio!!!
Okay before I forget, does anyone have any lunch or coffee shop recommendations in Costa Mesa?! Daydream is one of our faves, but want to learn about all the others that you love, too.
What else is going on at KHI this month. We're planning a couple of big installs next month, one at our Park Royal project (which was featured in this months #InTheWorks series so if you haven't read it, go check it out!) and the second at our Denver Build that's been years in the making. Installing and shooting that at the end of May AHHHHHH.
Lastly I'm gearing up for a trip to High Point Market in North Carolina next week which I'm really excited for! Going to meet new vendors, test furniture for our clients, network, and catch up with some of my good girlfriends I met at Design Camp in Austin last fall.
