In this months edit we're doing a bit of reflection on 2022, and sharing some things we're looking forward to in 2023 including some upcoming photoshoots we're excited about and a very special project we finally get to start working on!
2022, let's start with you. Our team carried upwards of 25 projects throughout this calendar year! We saw several cross the finish line, including our Minimal Modern Mar Vista Build, and our incredible new build up on Orcas Island, Washington. We took day trips to Portland and Denver to check in on current projects, and started new projects in both Connecticut and Arizona! We also booked new projects here in the sunshine state: a new build down in Laguna Beach (Emerald Bay), 2 new builds in Los Angeles (Mar Vista & Arcadia), a whole home renovation up in Piedmont (norCal), and 2 cabin renovations out in Lake Arrowhead. I'm grateful for all of the work our team was able to accomplish, and for all of our amazing clients who allow us to do what we love.
I cant wait to see what 2023 has in store.
January will be full of all the things for all the projects, but a few are of note. We'll finally get to professionally photo shoot 2 projects that we completed last year, both partial renovations in Long Beach, CA. Our Olive Ave Project is a beautiful home located in the historical district where we renovated our clients kitchen and 2 baths, and it turned out beyond adorable. And our Fanwood Ave Project is a home that we tore down walls to reimagine our clients existing space creating a beautiful open concept completely transforming the home. We renovated the kitchen, dining, and living space, along with their little girls bathroom. We can't wait to share more as the shoot approaches - the before and afters of both homes are going to blow your mind.
The other thing our team is so excited about this month is diving into design concepts for our Manhattan Beach Build! This is a project that we booked in the middle of last year but have been on hold for as we've waited for architectural plans to get approved by the city. It is a 4 story home with 2 full kitchens, 5 beds, 7 bathrooms located a stones throw from the ocean!! Design direction is minimalistic and nature driven with a touch of Spanifornia, WHO IS EXCITED (WE CAN BARELY CONTAIN OURSELVES). Here are a few inspiration images we're using as we get started on the design concepts to present to our clients.
And here are a few images of the exterior renderings that the architects we're working with on the project (Tomaro Architecture) did. :)
STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES!
